We’re assisting K&S Cleaners in filling this role, and we’ll be your primary point of contact through the application and interview process.

It’s for a permanent part-time cleaning job at K&S Cleaners. You’ll meet the owner of the company during the interview process, and if selected, you’ll be hired by K&S Cleaners and will immediately become an employee of K&S Cleaners

DETAILS

Description

• Provide thorough, detailed cleaning that produces a consistent result each and every time. Sometimes working alone and sometimes working with others.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean building floors and stairs by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Spot clean carpets when needed.
• Gather, empty and dispose of trash in all offices and work spaces.
• Clean restrooms, bathrooms, and showers.
• Clean kitchen and breakroom areas.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using cleaners, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, ceilings, machines, and equipment.
• Clean outdoor areas when needed.
• Notify the owner of K&S Cleaners of any equipment or facilities repairs needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Friendly and courteous
• Ability to work with a team
• Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality of clients

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

• Detail oriented

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a professional cleaning role

Technology

• Hub app for Paysmart timekeeping
• Battery operated and corded vacuums
• Building security systems, key-fobs, and mechanical keys
• Toilet flush systems and water shut-offs

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Environment/Exposure

• Primary work environment is an indoor climate-controlled setting
• Sometimes will be required to enter facilities that might contain dust, dirt, or fumes
• Sometimes will be required to work outdoors for short periods

Required Activities

• Standing and walking for the entire shift, sometimes kneeling, and sometimes climbing using ladders or stools
• Speaking with co-workers and customers\
• Listening for sounds of malfunctioning equipment
• Reading product labels & identifying color
• Smelling various odors during inspection and cleaning
• Walking, reaching, bending, and crouching
• Grabbing, holding, gripping, pushing, and pulling mops, brooms, vacuums, carts, and other items
• Lifting to 30 pounds
